Press Release from U Kyaw Zaw Spokesperson, Office of the President

Today, I would like to announce my transition from the role of Spokesperson for the Office of the Acting President to a role focused on strategic engagement and coordination.

I would like to thank the National Unity Government, especially Acting President Duwa Lashi La, cabinet members and the secretary of the president’s office, for their trust and confidence in me over the past four years. It has been a great honour to serve as spokesperson.

I am also grateful for the truly engaging and productive working relationships that I cultivated with journalists and the media the world over. I remain deeply committed to the National Unity Government and the Spring Revolution. My new role will enable me to advance the Acting President’s vision and to remain a key member of his Office.
